Valve Bags

Valve bags are among the most commonly used packaging solutions, particularly for products in powder form, such as flour, activated carbon, plastic pellets, and cement. A key feature of valve bags is the small opening or valve at the corner, through which the bag is filled. This valve includes an inner flap that acts as a self-closing check valve once filling is complete. Valve bags are available with either a plain valve or an extended inner sleeve made of paper or film. When an extended “tuck-in sleeve” is used, it is manually folded down and tucked back into the pocket beneath the sleeve for a secure closure, preventing sifting. In simple terms, once the bag is filled, the pressure of the contents inside automatically seals the valve, providing a self-sealing function.

Two Types of Valve Bags

※The WPP (Woven Polypropylene) Valve Bag is a block bottom bag with a valve opening at the top, constructed from woven polypropylene and laminated with printed BOPP film on the outer surface.

※The Kraft Paper Valve Bag typically consists of three layers of kraft paper and one PE liner. The outer layer is either natural or white kraft paper, while the inner PE liner can be added between the layers to protect the contents from moisture.

Features of Valve Bags

01

High speed filling

Valve Bags are specifically designed for high-speed filling, allowing for efficient and rapid packaging of products while minimizing downtime in production lines. The design of the valve ensures quick and easy filling, making these bags ideal for high-volume operations.

02

Multiple valve Options for unique filling

Valve Bags offer multiple valve options to accommodate unique filling needs, including PVE, Paper Insert, Poly Lock, Sonic Seal, and Tuck In. Each option is designed to provide optimal performance and sealing based on the specific requirements of the product being packaged.

03

Moisture-proof

Whether it’s Kraft Paper Valve Bags or WPP Valve Bags, moisture-proofing is a key feature of both. Valve bags are typically made with multiple layers such as high-strength kraft paper, with an added polyethylene film serving as a moisture barrier to protect the products from moisture damage.
